We are surrounded by natural, indigenous bush including the Umbhaba Tree (Lowveld Chestnut) after which the lodge is named. The lodge is built among stunning dams and water features, overlooking the Sabie valley in the distance. We have abundant bird life and the most beautiful sunsets, making it the perfect location for a sundowner after an amazing safari in the Kruger National Park.
Umbhaba Eco Lodge is only 10 km to Phabeni gate, this is one of the best wildlife regions of the Kruger national park allowing clients to go in different directions, each has its own unique vegetation and increases your chances of seeing abundant wildlife and different scenery from Large rivers to open savannah and rolling hills and granite landscapes.
